I’m incredibly proud and excited to share that The Urban Legend will now become part of the official school curriculum in Iceland.
The Icelandic Directorate of Education and School Services recently reached out with the intention of including The Urban Legend (in English) for 8th-grade students, with nationwide implementation across Icelandic compulsory schools.
Seeing The Urban Legend continue to grow internationally is both humbling and inspiring. What began as a vision to empower young people through storytelling is now being embraced by schools around the world.
Today, The Urban Legend is part of the school curriculum in Norway, Eritrea, Kenya, Brazil, and South Africa. The series is used in subjects such as history, science, English, and social studies. In addition, several of our special editions, focusing on bullying, racism, mental health, financial literacy, climate change, and first aid — are actively used as educational tools in classrooms.

This milestone in Iceland marks another important step in our global mission: using storytelling as a bridge between creativity, education, and empowerment.
The journey continues.
