On December 27, we hosted this year’s Superhero Football Cup, and the turnout was nothing short of incredible. The energy, the smiles, and the atmosphere inside the arena reminded us exactly why this event exists.

Every team that registers becomes a superhero team. That meant matchups like Batman vs. Spider-Man and The Hulk vs. Black Panther. From the very first kickoff, the atmosphere at Furuset Forum was electric.
Normally, we organize the Superhero Football Cup the weekend before school starts in August. This year, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, we decided to move the tournament to the Christmas holidays and host it indoors. The change turned out to be a success, filling the arena with life, noise, and excitement during a time when community means more than ever.

We’ve been organizing this football cup since 2018, in collaboration with Furuset Forum and Alnaskolen. From the very beginning, my goal was to give something back to the community I grew up in. That’s how the idea of creating the world’s first Superhero Football Cup was born.

Over the years, the cup has grown beyond anything we imagined. Along the way, even global brands like Nike and Audi have supported the tournament with football shirts and prizes, helping elevate the experience for the players.

This year, more than 33 teams participated, including several girls’ teams, which was especially inspiring to see. I had the chance to referee some of the matches myself, and I loved every minute of it. Watching the joy, determination, and love for the game on the pitch made me both proud and deeply grateful.

The tournament is divided into three age groups:
Kids
Youth
Adults
🏆 Winners 2024
Kids category: Black Panther
Youth category: Hulk
Adult category: Flash
The next Superhero Football Cup will take place in August. Participation is completely free, and if you’re interested, you’re more than welcome to register your own superhero team.

It will be one of the most exciting, and meaningful events you’ll be part of this year.
